Dr. Nomusa Dlodlo holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Liverpool John Moores University in the United Kingdom. She is currently employed as a Senior Researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)'s Meraka Institute in Pretoria, South africa. Dr. Dlodlo works in the Internet-of-Things (IoT)
group. Her main research interests lie in applying IoT technologies to improve teaching and learning at primary and secondary school levels. She collaborates with local universities in her research work and supervises postgraduate students. Dr. Dlodlo is no stranger to academia, having been a Computer Science lecturer for 15 years prior to joining the CSIR. She is appointed Professor Extraordinaire by the ICT faculty of the Tshwane University of Technology.
